In 2006, netForensics contacted Solodev because they needed a website development company that could deliver results on time and on budget. They required a consultant who could work cohesively with their marketing team to produce a website that was both visually pleasing and had superior functionality. Furthermore, netForensics was looking for a web partner that could go beyond the basics and execute cutting edge lead generation strategies.


Challenge

As a security software company, netForensics needed a strategic partner that they could trust with employing the most up-to-date web security best practices on their own site, while providing numerous other lead generation functions and services. The optimal consultant needed to adhere to their maintenance budget while still getting revisions done in a time efficient manner. Furthermore, the chosen consultant needed to have the skills and knowledge to translate ideas and concepts from the marketing team into reality.


Solution

In the early stages of the partnership, Solodev gave netForensics the ability to update their website in a timelier and cost effective manner. Working in collaboration with the netForensics marketing team, Solodev completed website changes in a matter of hours opposed to several days. In 2007 when Solodev was tasked with rebranding the entire netForensics website, updating web copy, revising imagery and resubmitting all of the site pages to search engines, Solodev completed the entire project in a matter of weeks.

To further increase search traffic to the netForensics' site and promote industry awareness, Solodev implemented effective SEO techniques crafted after nearly a decade of research as well as a branded blog. Solodev trained staff on blog usage and best practices, and provided a tutorial on integrating SEO key words into the blog so it can be picked up by search engines and viewed by a wider audience.

In addition to growing netForensics’ web presence, Solodev also worked with netForensics to hone their web-to-lead system and automated lead nurturing campaigns. netForensics employed Solodev to create a series of landing pages with lead collection forms. Solodev integrated these form completions into netForensics’ demand generation and customer relationship solutions where they are scored and funneled to the sales team. Furthermore, Solodev was then able to automate a series of targeted content offers to these newly collected contacts. This approach has provided netForensics with greater visibility into their web marketing campaigns as well as increased netForensics’ targeted e-nurturing efforts.

As the relationship grew, so did the tasks netForensics contracted Solodev to work on. netForensics wanted an in-depth analysis done on their server and to ensure that the site was updated with web security best practices in mind. After analyzing several hundred files within the site, Solodev was charged with creating a plan to reorganize the site structure. Once this process was complete, Solodev then conducted a series of scans to ensure that no vulnerabilities existed on the site. As a result of these regular security scans, netForensics has confidence that their website is constantly being guarded so they can focus on their clients' security while Solodev ensures their site’s security.
